In residence from April 1st to April 7th, 2024
The Haydée Trio, a unique ensemble for voice (Marielou Jacquard), flute(s) (Anastasie Lefebvre de Rieux) and harp (Constance Luzzati), will record its first album Chants de Lumière ("Songs of light") in 2024. Its program plunges the listener into a sensitive journey from twilight to the brilliant light of day, both literally and through the metaphors associated with luminous variations, which echo the great rites of passage punctuating human life, from the first emotions to the borders of mourning. Chants de Lumière is based around works by female composers from the past century (Rosy Wertheim, Clémence de Grandval, Pauline Viardot, Hedwige Chrétien) and contemporary pieces (Édith Canat de Chizy, Édith Lejet). Most of these works have never been recorded.
The centerpiece of this album dedicated to Light will be a ten-minute work commissioned from composer Joséphine Stephenson, with a text written for this occasion by author-illustrator Maureen Wingrove (aka Diglee).
The Haydée Trio will be in residence in Villecroze from April 1st to April 7th, 2024 for the creation of this piece, in collaborative work with the author and composer, and for the production of promotional videos for their first album.
This residency will be punctuated by a concert at the Auditorium de la Dracénie on April 5th, 2024.
