Concert pianist Tatiana Gerasimova won audience recognition as a soloist and chamber musician whose, bright and energetic personality; individual sound palette and strong stage presence make her performance unique and easily recognized.
Gerasimova’s intensive concert schedule includes concert venues all over Europe, Russia and the USA. In addition to her solo recitals, she has performed with internationally renowned musicians such as Sergey Khachatryan, Dora Schwarzberg, Alexander Rudin, Vladimir Chernov, Vagram Saradjian, Zakhar Bron, Nana Jashvili, Marina Prudenskaja, and many others. Ms. Gerasimova has performed at Texas Music Festival, Houston; Schlern International Music Festival, Italy; Babajanian Concert Hall, Yerevan; Moores Opera House, Houston; Little Hall (Malyj zal) and Rachmaninov Hall, Moscow and many others.
Tatiana Gerasimova has made recordings for Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (Germany), KUHF (USA), Radio Hilversum (Holland) and State Armenian TV.
Born in St. Petersburg, she graduated from St. Petersburg State Conservatory and received her doctoral degree from the University of Cologne in Germany.
She was on faculty at the Robert-Schuman University Duesseldorf (Musikhochschule Duesseldorf) and at the University of Cologne from 1998 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012 she was affiliated with the Moores School of Music, University of Houston.
In her artistic development, Ms. Gerasimova combined the great tradition of the Russian piano school and European influence.
Since 2008, Tatiana Gerasimova lives in Houston with her husband and son. Since 2010, she is Director of the Semper Music Inc. and
Music Director of the Semper Music International Festival. Ms. Gerasimova holds master classes in the USA, Mexico, Germany, France and Italy.
